Artist Statement

I am intrigued by the unknown in our lives. My paintings are many times of a spiritual nature and are inspired by emotion we experience as we go through our journey on earth. It is my sincere desire when a viewer and my work connect, they discover something about themselves. With this insight, perhaps the journey will be a little easier. My intention is to help others understand that we are all spiritual beings, and I believe we have a immortality we must accept.

About the Artist

The artist's work is contemporary and expressionistic. She loves soft pastel and strong intense color and uses it to communicate. She works with acrylics on canvas and likes experimenting with different kinds of paint. She is fascinated with Rothko and Van Gogh, their lives and paintings. Her work has been published in Folio, published by American University and Art Business News. Her work will also appear in New Art International 2002-2003.
The artist has completed commissions for private indviduals and is presently exhibiting in Grand Forks Gallery, BC, Canada.
